Friese family moved to Amrita Shergil Marg in the year 1976. The photo is of the havan cum housewarming party at their new residence. People in the Photo (L-R): Mrs. Sarla Thakral aka Mati ji She was the landlady (from 1969-75) and family friend at 60 Babur Road. She was a the first Indian woman to fly an aircraft in 1936 at the age of 21 . She also served as a personal pilot to a Maharaja, most probably to Maharaja of Alwar. Jan Friese's children, Kai and Laila participating in havan rituals.
