Description
Sundar Nursey, one of Delhi's oldest and best loved nurseries in Nizamuddin area housed many residents until the quarters were destroyed to be renovated as part of the Sundar Nursery re-development project. The Malis and other care-takers rented spare rooms, one of their tenants was the family of Bhrama Swaroop Snatak, Hindi and Sanskrit teacher at the nearby Quetta DAV school. Photographed here are his two sons Pawan Tomar and Sudarshan Tomar. The family lived in Sunder Nursery until Snatak ji's retirement in 1992.
