Lady on the right is Mrs. Adrienne Jackson and on extreme left her husband Mr. Peter Jackson (Pakistan Corresspondant) who was the head of Reuters (International Newspaper Agency). Their son, David Jackson, suffered from Downs’ Syndrome . The Jacksons founded The Delhi Society for the Welfare of Special Children to help David and other children with special needs. Women on extreme left is Mrs. Afzal Friese (Photographer's wife) who played an active role in setting up the society. She was also the first Principal of the society.
