Conversations with Mohammad Tauhir reveal how often Bollywood dresses, poses and styles influenced their portraiture. In this photograph, the rocks around what is now the Mehrauli Archaeological Park became the setting for moves from'action' movies. Behind his brother Anwar in the photograph is the Phansi Ghar, a monument that has now been replaced by the Ahinsa Sthal, with its large statue of Bhagwan Mahaveer at the same spot.Dated:
