Photograph of the women and children of the Prasad family The Prasad family trace their history from Raja Partab Chander, the founder of Partabpur (Sohna) in Haryana. Post Babur's expedition the family was uprooted and three branches of family moved to the court of Jind, one settled in Delhi as munshis in the Mughal court and third joined the court of Nawab of Awadh. The Haveli was aquired by the family during their service years under the Mughals. Narain Prasad' father Jagdish Prasad was a charted accountant and ran his own firm, which was carried on by Narain Prasad himself, much.
