The National Zoological Park was innaugrated in 1959 as the "Delhi Zoo". Mr. Carl Hagenbeck of Zoological Garden of Hamburg, Germany was instrumental in planning and building the 176 acres of zoological park home to more than 100 species of flora and fauna Lala Narain Prasad labelled this album as "Animals of the Zoo, spider, water birds."
